Cannes Film Festival’s Cozy Box debuts in Delhi, here’s what you need to know
We often hear of star-studded events in art, fashion and film taking place across the globe. From the Grammy’s to the Met Gala, from the Cannes Film Festival to the Oscars, there are so many different galas that grab headlines and attention. Have you ever wondered which celebrity guests are served at these red carpet events? Guess what! You can now discover the cuisine of the Cannes Film Festival in the comfort of the capital. Cannes Film Festival‘s official dining partner, Cozy Box, has just made its debut in Delhi and it’s a memorable experience that’s surely a class apart.
Delhi restaurateurs Akshay Anand and Aashish Begwani have teamed up with original founders Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Vesini to present Delhi’s first-ever Cozy Box at One Golden Mile. The idea is to bring together a lively nightlife experience combined with innovative dishes and gourmet cocktails. Spread over an area of 7,500 square feet, Cozy Box is the perfect space for a night full of revelry. The food is a spectacle, with an array of choices from Mediterranean, European, Oriental, and modern Indian cuisines. The drink menu, meanwhile, has options for everyone – from the seasoned drinker to the young millennial.
We started our meal with hearty soups – the mushroom cappuccino, minestrone and hot and sour soups. Then came the Veg Dimsums which were quite indulgent and delicious. We tried the Edamame Cream Cheese Dimsums, the Dimsums Filled with Peanut Butter and Spicy Asparagus, and the Truffled Mushroom Dimsums Drizzled in Truffle Oil. From the Maki Mono section, we recommend the various vegetarian options such as Black Forest, Spicy Avocado and Enoki Dragon; really a must!

As for main courses, we tried the Pizza Primavera topped with tomato sauce, zucchini, peppers, asparagus, olives and mozzarella cheese. Among the large Indian plates, we tasted the Pruneaux and Cottage Cheese Kofta served with Salan curry and Donut bread. There was the Tamatar Rassa paired with a Tofu Kachori – a unique and interesting crispy delight.

We finished our meal with the Molten Lava Cake – a dark chocolate cake with a soufflé center topped with Vanilla Gelato.
