19th Chennai International Film Festival is here, promising a treat of 121 films from 53 countries
“The feeling of watching a film on the big screen is another thing,” explains E Thangaraj, secretary general of the Indo Film Appreciation Foundation. âThe sound and visual effects can only be fully felt in a movie theater,â he emphasizes. The Foundation’s 19th Chennai International Film Festival seeks to deliver exactly that to film lovers.
Over the past two years, more films have been shown on OTT platforms than on the big screen, Thangaraj hopes the festival will provide food for moviegoers. âThis is the opportunity for them to watch our selection of award-winning films from around the world,â he adds.
