New family entertainment festival is coming to Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury Live will see exhibition groups, a fun fair, stalls, street musicians and food and drink vendors take over the Greenhous West Mid Showground.

It was organized by the Shropshire and West Midlands Agricultural Society, with the aim of providing a fun family day out during the summer school holidays.

Ian Bebbington, Managing Director of the Shrewsbury and West Midlands Agricultural Society, said: “This is a whole new event for the town and we want to get the message out so people notice the date and come for a. nice day out with the family. entertainment.

“The Monster Trucks are making a comeback after a hugely successful appearance at last year’s Shropshire County Show and will feature Big Pete and Grim Reaper – so it’s worth watching.

“Other entertainment in the main ring includes the Guido Louis equestrian stunt team and the Extreme Mountain Bike Show.

“There will be an exciting funfair to enjoy, an array of shopping booths and musicians playing throughout the day.

“The showground is run by the company, a charity, which is keen to support the local community where possible.

Daytime entry will be £ 10 for adults, £ 5 for children aged 5-15 and £ 30 for a family ticket. There are a limited number of advanced tickets currently available at a reduced price.
