Qatar’s biggest retail and entertainment festival returns

Doha: Qatar Tourism has announced the return of the month-long shopping and entertainment extravaganza “Shop Qatar” from September 10 to October 10, 2021.
Shop Qatar will be the first major festival to take place in Qatar in 18 months, where 15 locations across Doha will offer discounts of up to 90%. Now in its fifth edition, the event goes international for the first time with the participation of Qatar Duty Free at HIA.
In total, over hundreds of prizes, including cash and cars worth over QR 4 million, will be won in four weekly raffles. Over 60 top hotels across the country will be running promotions and fun activities for the whole family. Buyers will have the chance to win thousands of Qatar Duty Free gift certificates.
For the first time, Shop Qatar Design Week will be held in the Doha Design District in Msheireb Downtown and will host pop-up shops, design workshops and two international fashion shows marking the Qatar-USA Year of Culture.
Prominent musicians, designers and artists will host masterclasses, fashion shows, workshops and music concerts. Famous Native American fashion designer Naeem Khan and acclaimed Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra will also be in attendance.
