Australia: To celebrate the INTERNATIONAL JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL 2022 – which will run from February 23 to April 3 – we have organized a ticket offer for our subscribers in sydney and melbourne!

From stories of unlikely friendships, strange real-life events to heroes of history, the International Jewish Film Festival is making its sparkling return to Australian cinemas, showcasing the best of Jewish cinematic gems from around the world. Presenting 55 premiering films from 20 countries, the Festival will offer an extensive program; presenting 31 feature films, 25 documentaries and episodes of a TV series and 6 short films plus a suite of live arts events to audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Canberra, with the exciting new addition of the Gold Coast.

Among the many highlights: that of Olivier Dahan (Life in pink) moving and monumental biopic Simone Veil: a woman of the century; drama Here todaydirected by Billy Crystal, who also co-stars with Tiffany Haddish; tiger insiderecounting the initially strained friendship between a Holocaust survivor (Ed Asner, The farewell drink) and a runaway teenager; A radiant girl, a film presented at Cannes Critics’ Week 2021 on the experiences of a young woman during the Occupation in Paris; haunting drama The conference, shot on location at Lake Wannsee in Berlin, depicting the Nazi conference where the idea to murder millions of Jews across Europe was conceived; and documentary Hallelujah: Leonard Cohenan exploration of the singer-songwriter and his internationally acclaimed anthem’s journey from record label rejection to chart-topping hit.
