The Cannes Film Festival adds films to the 2022 line-up – Deadline
The Cannes Film Festival on Thursday added a slew of films to its lineup ahead of next month’s 75th edition, including three films in the Competition’s main lineup.
The news comes after festival director Thierry Frémaux unveiled the lineup for the event’s 75th anniversary in Paris last week.
New competition titles include two female directors – The Otto Mountain by Charlotte Vandermeersch and Felix Van Groeningen, and A little brother by Léonor Serraille — giving the lineup a record five female coxswains in this year’s peloton competing for the Palme d’Or.
